Pillows were too soft and thin, mattresses too hard. Several times the cleaning ladies forgot to bring clean towels so we had to call the reception. Last three days they ran out of shampoo and shower gel so we had to manage with just small pieces of soap. There is a safe in the room but it is located in a very inconvenient position, at the bottom of a wardrobe in a corner. The hotel is probably still in the process of becoming a four star hotel or it has got the fourth star recently so in some places you see three stars (elevator, some towels,...) in some other you see four: it would be nice to remove this inconsistency as a sign of respect for clients. All negative points above can be easily corrected and improved but the real weak point of this hotel are the waitresses working at the restaurant: they are not kind, they never smile, they seem to have no idea of what customer care means. The hotel should give them a course on how to treat customers, also taking into account the fact that this hotel is not cheap so you would expect a very good service and personnel smiling to you (for example, the cleaning ladies were very kind and always smiling, therefore it is possible!). Při procházce na ulici Krupówki narazíme častokrát na tento název. První zmínky o mořském oku najdete na vzpomínkových magnetkách v každém obchodě s dárkovými předměty. Dále najdete hotel Mořské Oko a také známou diskotéku se stejným názvem Morskie Oko. Nechci ovšem představovat ani jedno z těchto míst. Přináším inspiraci na rodinný výlet na Mořské Oko. Mořské oko – Největší pleso v Tatrách Mořské oko je největším jezerem ve Vysokých Tatrách. Na první příčku ho dostala velikost necelých 35 ha s maximální známou hloubkou 50,8 metrů. Jezero ledovcového původu leží v nadmořské výšce 1395,4 metrů. Název Mořské oko nahradil původní název rybí pleso. Tento původní název vznikl díky přirozenému výskytu ryb v jezeře, což není v jezerech tohoto typu standardní. Jméno Mořské oko vzniklo na základě pověsti o tom, že je v podzemí jezero spojené s mořem. Toto spojení se ovšem nikdy nepodařilo potvrdit. 😀 Mořské oko je jako jediné z polských horských jezer dostupné po asfaltové cestě, která vede až k samotnému jezeru. Ačkoliv je zde tento povrch, je vjezd autům, autobusům či cyklistům zakázán. Díky velké turistické oblibě a snadnému přístupu se stalo Mořské Oko jedním z nejoblíbenějších turistických cílů polských Tater. Okolo mořského Oka vede krásná procházková trasa. Také je zde Turistická chata s názvem Schronisko Morskie Oko. Tato chata se skládá ze dvou budov, které se řadí k nejstarším chatám v polské části Tater. Obě tyto budovy jsou chráněné památkovým ústavem. Samozřejmě je zde i restaurace s rozmanitou nabídkou. Ceny jsou velmi příznivé a kvalita jídel na dobré úrovni. Hlavní výhodou je i poměrně velká jídelna, která dokáže pojmout poměrně hodně turistů v nepříznivém počasí. Venkovní prostor je plný laviček a míst k odpočinku. Po svých, s kočárkem či koňským povozem Mořské oko je snadno dostupné díky jednoduchému výstupu po asfaltové cestě. Hojně je místo navštěvované i s kočárky. Cesta nahoru i dolů se dá zkrátit díky koňským povozům, které celoročně vyvážejí turisty do místa nazývané Włosenica. Zde se nachází občerstvení s možností navštívit toalety. Díky tomuto je procházka dostupná pro rodiny s dětmi, méně zdatné turisty i starší osoby, které se již neodváží na dlouhé výšlapy do hor. Od točny povozů (Włosenica) již musí každý ujít posledních 1600 metrů po svých. Na konci asfaltové cesty se otevírá výhled na jezero a okolní vrcholy, které mají o 1000 a více metrů. Cesta nahoru trvá přibližně 2,5 hodiny ze záchytného parkoviště a je plná nádherné přírody a výhledů. Za zmínku stojí hlavně vodopády Mickiewicze. Tyto vodopády najdete na říčce Roztoka, která odvádí vodu z doliny Pěti Stavů Polských. Těsně před Mořským Okem je po levé straně ukryto Malé Mořské Oko a Žabí Oko. Podél cesty najdete lavičky pro odpočinek a kadibudky, které jsou pravidelně udržované. 🙂 Mořské oko je také místem, kde začíná jediná stezka na polské straně Tater, po které se dá vystoupat na nejvyšší horu polských Tater Rysy. Cesta pokračuje po červené turistické značce k jezeru Czarny Staw pod Rysami a pak náročným výstupem až na vrchol. Mořské oko a výhled po okolíJak se dostat k mořskému oku? Záchytné parkoviště naleznete v Palenica Białczanská, jeho kapacity nedostačují počtu turistů přijíždějících auty a v pozdějších hodinách se parkuje podél příjezdové cesty od Łysa Polana. Poplatek za parkoviště byl v létě 2018 ve výši 25 zł. Chůze po příjezdové cestě není vůbec příjemným zážitkem. Neustále se míjíte s projíždějící auty hledající volné parkovací místo a odjíždějícími návštěvníky. Proto doporučujeme plánovat výlet na Mořské Oko v brzkých ranních hodinách, kdy je hlavní parkoviště ještě volné. 🙂 Vyhnete se tak nepříjemnému zážitku s hledáním parkování. Také existuje varianty využití místních autobusů a převozníků, kteří pravidelně jezdí v tomto směru. Dovezou Vás přímo na parkoviště a cena je smluvní. Doporučuji dojít na zastávku Watra. Odtud jezdí pravidelně autobus a najde se zde mnoho lidí, kteří Vám budou nabízet cestu na Mořské Oko či na lanovku na Kasprowy Wierch do Kużnice. Jezero je nádherné nejen za letních měsíců, ale i v zimním období. Vše je krásně zasypané sněhem a místo povozů jezdí nádherné sáně. Vodní plocha jezera bývá zamrzlá a je možné se dostat i na led. Při výstupu v zimním období doporučujeme mít s sebou nesmeky a ještě lépe turistické hole. Povrch bývá někdy hodně namrzlý a uhlazený od aut, které zásobují turistickou chatu.
